A soft-spoken Dolph Ziggler has written his name in the history of wrestling since he is first and only player who has won four major world championships: World Heavyweight championship, NXT championship, AAA Mega championship, and TNA World championship of WWE. It is a remarkable success born with sheer force and desire to conquer unseen territory upon leaving WWE by the end of 2023.

Having spent a memorable 19 years in WWE, Ziggler (Nicholas Nemeth) held World Heavyweight Championship a pair of times and surprised audiences by defeating Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa in a three-way thriller at Roadblock in March 2022, winning NXT Championship. This victory confirmed his reputation outside roster and his versatility in the high stakes game on NXT.

However, he has made his most audacious steps following his departure of WWE in September 2023. Making leap to Mexico, Ziggler has won the AAA Mega Championship on April 27, 2024, at TriplemaniA XXXII in front of a cheering crowd, setting WWE ex-superstar Ziggler up as a key figure in Lucha Libre. It was that victory which gave him preeminence but not whole of it.

Ziggler Claims TNA Crown

Ziggler shocked everyone in January 2024 with a jaw dropping debut at TNA Hard to Kill when he challenged champion Moose with a dramatic entrance to solidify his place. In less than half a year, at Slammiversary on July 20, 2008, he won TNA World Championship by defeating a six‑way elimination match, his first world title in a company other than WWE.

That victory made Ziggler the holder of fourth distinct world championship, making him the first wrestler in history who win all four of these championships. It points to a unique ability, cross-genre fluidity, and boldness to give up comfort of WWE recognition to become proficient in numerous styles and cultures.
