One of the most iconic individuals in the history of WWE has officially re-signed with the organization, as Becky Lynch has seemingly ended months of speculation concerning her future.
Fans were left in suspense over whether The Man would get back to the ring or move on to other opportunities after her contract expired in June 2024. In January, it was reported that she had signed another contract with WWE, which guaranteed that she would remain in the wrestling industry.
The hiatus of Lynch in the WWE programming started after a defeat to Liv Morgan in a steel cage match on May 27, 2024. She kept going on with her other engagements like events and personal endeavors during her absence. Following rumours of her retirement or a possible jump to AEW, she never wavered in her allegiance with WWE and ended up renewing her contract.

She returned in a dramatic fashion at WrestleMania 41 as the partner of Lyra Valkyria when Bayley was attacked backstage mysteriously. The two won the WWE Women Tag Team Championship, but they lost the titles the next night on Raw. In a twist of surprise, Lynch turned on Valkyria and became the attacker of Bayley, and rekindled her heel character.
This turncoat would lead to Lynch and Valkyria developing a heated rivalry that will see a Last Chance match between them at Money in the Bank on June 7. She was the winner and won the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship making her a force to reckon with in the women's division.
She now has a new championship and that means that she is ready to take the women's division to the next level.
