The absence of Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief of WWE, is conspicuous because he left his television team in dramatic fashion after WrestleMania 41. In the same, Reigns was betrayed by his long-time supporter, Paul Heyman, who joined hands with Seth Rollins and CM Punk, causing severe beatings on Reigns by Rollins and Bron Breakker. This outrageous twist of events left fans on the edge of their seats as to what Reigns will do next.

It has been reported in the recent past that Reigns is set to make a comeback to WWE programming. Sources indicate that his name has been floated internally in the last few weeks and that there are plans to have him come back. Although there has been no official confirmation as to when he would be returning, the speculation is that SummerSlam in August would be a good place to see him.

Potential Storylines Upon Reigns' Return

There are a number of interesting plotlines that may arise when he returns as expected. The first option is that Reigns and LA Knight can join forces to take on the faction of Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Recently Knight was brutally beaten by Breakker and Reed, which is why he needs a strong partner.

Another interesting twist is that Reigns may seek revenge on Rollins for the betrayal and attack. Since they both have a rich history and the personal motive is at stake, a feud between Reigns and Rollins would be a great match to watch.

Also, the fact that Reigns is working in Hollywood, i.e., he is going to appear in the new Street Fighter film, can affect his WWE schedule. This may make his appearance more selective like Brock Lesnar, who remains a special attraction.

With the changing face of the WWE, the comeback of Reigns will be a defining point and it can possibly redefine rivalries and title hunts. The audience is waiting impatiently to see what will happen next in the story of the Tribal Chief.
