The entry of Blake Monroe in WWE is officially rocking the boat. After her noticeable debut on NXT as Mariah May after leaving AEW, she was signed to NXT last month where she appeared together with Jordynne Grace in the June 3 episode. This started as a surprise section on Jacy Jayne but ended up with Monroe being dramatically put through a table during her contract signing she was gasping and gaining curiosity creating a story, and caught fire for that moment.

Jump to June 27 and she made her first-ever NXT live-event appearance in Fort Pierce, Florida, where she entered the ring. She won against Lainey Reid that night in a triumphant first win on WWE soil, wrestling under the new name, Blake Monroe. The atmosphere was electric and fans were cheering “The Glamour” as she approached her return to televised wrestling closer and closer.

Tag Team Spotlight Sets Stage

The July 1 episode of NXT changed gears to upcoming Great American Bash PLE on following weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. Jordynne Grace is bragging on her upcoming title match against Jacy Jayne at Evolution on July 13 at a heated tune-in in a main-event promo.

Fatal Influence ambushed Grace, which created an opportunity to rescue her dramatically. An iconic performance that secured his avalanche of praise, she stormed the ring and fended off the heels leading the crowd to erupt in cheer, an aspect that was so personal to NXT GM Ava Raine she could not resist.

This led to a big announcement, Monroe and Grace will join forces to battle Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley in Monroe first-ever televised WWE Premium Live Event match, which will take place at the Great American Bash on July 12. This tag combination not only provides fireworks, but also sets up cleanly for Grace vs Jayne on Monday at Evolution.
