Ronda Rousey recently suffered an injury to her middle and ring fingers. She sustained the injury on the set of 9-1-1 during a filming of an episode. The series is being filmed in Mexico at the moment. According to reports, Ronda did not let the injury keep her down, and she returned to work the very next day.
The spoke about the accident on Instagram and stated that she almost lost one of her fingers. "So the word is out I nearly lost my finger shooting @911onfox," she wrote. "Freak accident, first take of the day a boat door fell on my hand, I thought I just jammed my fingers so I finished the take before looking (I know it sounds crazy, but I'm used to live audiences and never showing pain unless I'm supposed to) after a break in the action I told our director the situation and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital where they promptly reattached my bone and tendon with a plate and screws."
Ronda reported that she got 50% of her mobility back in 3 days and that modern medicine amazes her. Ronda Rousey has a history of hand injuries. She nearly split her hand into two during a fight back in her UFC days. She has very tiny and delicate hands. She even broke her hand at WrestleMania 35, after catching Becky Lynch’s elbow on her fist during a punch.
