Brock Lesnar's absence from the wrestling world has been going on for about two years now and fans continue to ask for updates on the status of the former world champion. He had his last match at SummerSlam in 2023, when he was defeated by 'The American Nightmare' who was going through one of the brightest moments of his entire career.

'The Beast Incarnate' has not appeared on TV since that time and everyone has understood that there is a specific reason. It is true that Triple H and Nick Khan have revolutionized the WWE product in recent years by changing their approach from Vince McMahon's policy, which tended to enhance old legends, but this cannot be the only reason behind Brock's long absence.

Most analysts and insiders are convinced that the legal action filed by the former WWE employee against Vince McMahon - in which Lesnar's name was also mentioned - is the main reason why the latter does not return to the ring.

Until that trial is concluded, it would be too big a risk for the Stamford's federation to use the former Universal champion in its shows.

During a recent interview with Demetrious Johnson for 'The Mightycast', Daniel Cormier – who has had a spectacular rivalry with Brock in the past – suggested that the latter is in a delicate position right now: “Brock is on the banned list right now. Brock got into so much trouble. I ain’t telling you on air what Brock did. Brock is in so much trouble.”

He also added: “Brock played us. Brock came with the idea… WWE paid him more to stay. He was such a big star there that he could make money to go do that and do nothing but suplex, or fight me in an Octagon and I’m going to try and kill him. He made the best choice.”

Although many fans hope so, it is very unlikely that 'The Beast' will return to WWE by the end of this year and it is not excluded that his wrestling career may be over.
