Roman Reigns took a huge blow during WrestleMania 41, where he participated in the main event of Night 1 against Seth Rollins and CM Punk. The 'Tribal Chief' was probably the top favorite on the eve of the 'Showcase of the Immortals' and almost everyone thought he would prevail in Las Vegas, but the shocking betrayal of Paul Heyman – who decided to ally himself with 'The Visionary' – forced Roman to suffer a very painful and unexpected defeat.

On the following episode of Monday Night Raw, the former member of 'The Shield' was brutally assaulted by Rollins and the rest of his stable and disappeared from TV for some time after that beating. He missed prestigious events such as Money in the Bank and Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, before making his return to the ring not long ago.

WWE does not intend to do without him at SummerSlam - the most important PLE of the entire summer - which will be staged at the MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3. It is not clear for the moment who will be Reigns' opponent in the company's next PLE, but it is evident that Roman has no intention of settling for a secondary role in the second half of this season.

Roman Reigns opens up on Paul Heyman

In a ‘vlog’ on his YouTube channel, the 'Tribal Chief' finally broke silence on Paul Heyman's shocking betrayal of him at Mania 41: “Well, before he betrayed me, I learned many wise things from the Wise Man, but that’s not who he is anymore. And one of the first things—something he always came back to—you can go back and check: we operate on the Tribal Chief’s time.”

Reigns continued: “They got a lot of serious problems going on. I mean, the man that Paul Heyman—my former Wise Man—chose to ride with, Seth Rollins, doesn’t look good, man. I don’t really want to speak on that because I believe in karma, so I want to see how that plays out.

I’m always looking for the key to the kingdom. I’m olden army, the way I look at it. So I’m still the Tribal Chief. I’m still fit to lead. Believe that.”
