The first half of the WWE season did not disappoint, with some events that are already destined to remain engraved in the history of this business. There is no doubt that the farewell tour of a legend of the caliber of John Cena is helping to make all the shows more special, as one of the best performers of all time is set to leave professional wrestling at the end of 2025.
Triple H and WWE management are focusing on the last year of Cena's career, but they are not neglecting the other stars on the roster and have found themselves having to manage a fairly delicate situation in the recent period. The reference is to Karrion Kross' contract, which expires today and has generated a wave of speculation among fans in recent weeks.
Latest update on Karrion Kross
According to reports from 'Fightful Select' in recent days, he had not been offered a contract renewal until August 5 but the situation changed very quickly. During an appearance on 'The Angle Podcast' to promote his new book, the former NXT star finally broke silence about his future: “I hope so. I see things being written online right now, specifically today. A lot of what I read is not true. I hate to disappoint people but I don’t wanna bullsht. But, I hope so. I hope we do come back.”*

The feeling among insiders is that Kross will be a protagonist in WWE also in the second half of this season, in which his character deserves to be enhanced and to climb the hierarchies within the federation. His next goal could be to become a main eventer by the beginning of next year.
