In particular, the latter was decisive in bringing WWE to Mexico with the show 'TripleMania XXXIII' staged on August 16. This event – which was broadcast on YouTube in every corner of the world – represented a huge crossover, starting a new era.
For this reason, HHH wanted to thank Taker for his fundamental contribution: “You know, in sort of looking at the landscape of the wrestling world overall, there was a thought of places that we could amplify sort of what they do. One of the first and foremost markets that we thought of was Mexico. How can we help to grow what they do? How can we help to add to it…”
Hunter continued: “If you’d have told me even 20 years ago that one of the big sort of driving forces behind AAA in Mexico would be The Undertaker, it would have been hard for me to sort of wrap my head around that. While sometimes an event like TripleManía can feel like the end of a run… this is really the start. This is day one.”
The feeling is that WWE is only at the beginning of its revolution.
