Within WWE, The Miz has won eighteen total championships: the WWE Championship once, the Intercontinental Championship eight times, the United States Championship twice, and seven tag team championships (two World Tag Team, four WWE (now Raw) Tag Team, and one SmackDown Tag Team), making him the 25th Triple Crown Champion and 14th Grand Slam Champion in company history.
The Miz also won the 2010 Money in the Bank ladder match (for Raw), and was ranked number one on Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI)'s annual PWI 500 list for 2011. He is one of the 10 most prolific pay-per-view performers in WWE history.
The Miz has headlined several pay-per-view events for WWE, including the 2011 edition of WWE's flagship event WrestleMania. On April 15, Miz was drafted to Raw as part of the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up. Upon his acquisition, he would attack McMahon with a steel chair.
Subsequently, Miz would challenge McMahon to a steel cage match at Money in the Bank in May. At the event, Miz was again defeated. The following month at Super ShowDown, Miz competed in the 51-man battle royal, but did not win.
During a recent interview with 11th Hour, The Miz reflected on working with his friend Dolph Ziggler: “It makes it A LOT more fun because you can take more liberties. You can kind of hit them where you know their weaknesses are– and you don’t feel bad about it!
You know what I mean? It’s one of those things… You just go for the throat! And I think doing stuff with your friends, you’re more giving, and you’re basically trying to one-up one another, if you will, and you get competitive with your friend”.
