Sasha Banks made her return to WWE TV and faced Becky Lynch. This is one of her most important matches since she disappeared from WWE TV after WrestleMania 35. She spoke about her return on a WWE Chronicle. Even though she was absent, Banks was still regarded as one of WWE’s top female talents.
Many people thought that she would sit out her contract and join another promotion, such as the AEW, once it expired. "I feel like going into this Sunday I'm not proving anybody anything but I'm just doing it for myself," Banks said.
"I'm going out there and wrestling for myself and my happiness. I'm going out there and wrestling because it makes me happy putting on a show for the fans, I'm not doing it for them, I'm doing it because I love to do it.
"I love putting in the work because I love seeing the outcome from it. And I feel like my hard work will finally pay off good because like I've said many times you've got to be so good that they can't ignore you and even if they do just do it for yourself.
Just make sure that you're happy and having fun out there." Banks was probably offered a very good deal or an extension which led to her coming back. She reportedly try to quit the WWE after she was forced to drop her tag team title at WrestleMania 35.
