Many WWE wrestlers have to face health issues when they get older. Professional wrestling takes a lot out of the wrestler’s body and they suffer from various health problems. Most health problems are very painful and sometimes, the wrestlers expire as they do not receive medical attention in time.
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan was the one who had to be hospitalized. This is reported by PWInsider. The report did not say why he was hospitalized. We know that he suffered from some health issues which forced him to pull out of a few conventions he was going to be part off.
Duggan was placed in intensive care in November. This happened in South Carolina after Duggan went into AFib (irregular heartbeat). He then got his heart operated in March, which was planned. Wrestling Inc. spoke to Duggan before his heart procedure.
They met him at WrestleMania. "My heart went out of rhythm," Duggan said. "They tried to shock it from the outside which didn't work. So, they went in and did a procedure called an ablation where they went in and shocked my heart and got it back into rhythm.
So, thank God everything is going good." Duggan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. He isn’t very well known, but he was a talented wrestler and used power moves quite easily. He fought some of the best wrestlers of his time.
