The WWE does not have a huge number of popular factions or groups any longer. They had many groups in the late 1990s and early 2000s. These days, the groups are simply not as entertaining as they were at one time. The New Day consists of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods.

Recently, Kofi Kingson had a really long solo run. He managed to beat Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 to capture the WWE Title. He became the first African born WWE Champion in history. On AL.com, he spoke about how Big E would fare as a solo performer.

Before Big E joined the New Day, he used to perform as a solo wrestler. He never made it big in the WWE as a solo performer. "Hopefully that does come to fruition in some way, shape or form, but I guess we'll all kind of just wait and see what happens.

We show up to work and try to work with the scraps that we're given and make the best of the opportunities we have. Everybody knows Big E would be an amazing singles competitor. If that were to happen, it would be with the New Day behind him 100 percent.

We push each other to the fullest and want to achieve the most they can possibly achieve in this business and in life,” stated Kofi.
