Tessa Blanchard Responds to Controversy

A lot of controversies are surrounding Tessa Blanchard these days. Her past behavior has been the cause of it. Allysin Kay is the one who called her out recently on social media. She stated that she spat in La Rosa Negra’s face when she was backstage with her during a fight in 2017.

She also allegedly called her the N-word. Shanna and Renee Michelle also called her out on social media. Shanna stated that Tessa did even more nasty stuff while she was working in Japan with her. Michelle stated that Rosa was asked to stay quiet about the incident as she could be blackballed had she opened her mouth.

Tessa issued the following statement: "Over the last week, I have been accused of calling a fellow wrestler a racial slur. To read this allegation has been personally upsetting. To be clear, I absolutely did not use that word.

That word is not in my vocabulary. That word is not in my heart. Racism is not in my heart. Yet I know many people have to deal with racism in a way I will never have to. Racism is an awful part of American history, and it is equally awful that it's still part of our society today”.

Tessa is currently the Impact World Champion. She managed to beat Sami Callihan at Impact Wrestling’s Hard to Kill PPV event.
