A very famous former WWE Diva and WWE 24/7 Champion made an appearance at the 2020 Royal Rumble. The 30-Woman Royal Rumble took place last Sunday. It was an amazing PPV event. Kelly Kelly entered at #21 and Charlotte Flair was the person that eliminated her.
She was the 18th elimination during the match. After the event, Kelly spoke to Sarah Schreiber about making a special appearance. Kelly spoke about her return and how excited she was about it. "You know, it felt so great," Kelly said.
"I was so nervous before I walked out, and I was just like, 'Ahhh.' I was like, 'Shake it off the nerves.' The music hit and it was like all worries went away. It was the best feeling in the world. ... Yeah, I have been out of the ring for years and I was like, 'You know what, I'm going to go in there and see what happens.'
" Kelly Kelly is not one of the women that are really given credit for starting the Women’s Evolution. She is, without doubt, a talented star, but she was present during a time where women were used a showpiece and women were not taken that seriously.
These days, some of the top superstars in the WWE are women. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are the two top stars in the company and have gained a lot of traction over the years.
