Eric Bischoff discusses if Hulk Hogan regrets doing a reality show

Hulk Hogan is a twelve-time world champion, having won the WWF World Heavyweight Championship six times and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship six times; he also once held the WWE Tag Team Championship (with Edge). After Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund, he is the third wrestler with the most days combined by WWF Champion.

His first reign as the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, which lasted 469 days (from July 17 1994 to October 29 1995), is the longest in the history of the title. Hogan also won the 1990 and 1991 editions of the Royal Rumble, becoming the first wrestler to win two in a row.

On the latest episode of 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff discussed if Hulk Hogan regrets doing the reality show: “I’ll go back to Hulk’s own book, that is public knowledge, to answer the question, short answer, yes, I think the Hogan Knows Best show probably exasperated an already existing problem.

So it’s not like Hogan Knows Best created a problem, but it certainly exasperated it, probably fueled it, probably expedited the end of their relationship and all the other negative things that happened. First of all, Hulk’s house was the set, so you’ve got cameras in your house at 6 o’clock, 7 o’clock in the morning, and you’re shooting all day long, sometimes until 8, 10, 11 o’clock at night, and then, guess what, you get to get up and do it again."
