Becky Lynch won the 2019 edition of the women's Royal Rumble match. She took part in the first Tables match (against Alexa Bliss at the 2016 edition of TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs), Royal Rumble match (in 2019), Last Woman Standing match (against Charlotte Flair a Evolution), Money in the Bank ladder matches (at the 2017 edition of Money in the Bank) and Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches (against Asuka and Charlotte Flair at the 2018 edition of TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs) female in the history of WWE.
It was the first absolute choice in the 2019 draft. In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, the Irish superstar spoke about why she calls herself The Man: “Oh, that is everything. That is everything. When I go to signings or have a fan come up and say, ‘You’re the reason I watch wrestling,’ ‘You’re the reason I can do this or I can do that,’ it means a lot.
It means the world. And when I startled calling myself The Man, it wasn’t a gender name. It was about being the top dog. It was about knowing your role, knowing your worth and going out there and claiming it. And anybody can do that.
Oh yes, TayTay been stealing my homework? Is that what happened? Is that what happened, Taylor? Wanna give me some credit, wanna give The Man some credit?! I’ll be in your video, alright”.
