Charlotte Flair on comparing her and Becky Lynch to Thelma and Louise

Daughter of the legendary Ric Flair, in May 2012 Charlotte Flair started training in WWE and in July 2013 she made her debut in the development territory of NXT, where she was voted Rookie of the Year. Two years later she was promoted to the federation's main roster as part of the so-called Women's Revolution.

As part of the 2019 draft, Flair was drafted to the Raw brand. In November, Flair was revealed as captain of Team Raw for Survivor Series, where Team Raw lost to Team SmackDown, after Team Raw member Asuka spitting green mist in Flair's face, caused Flair to be eliminated.

On January 26, 2020, at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Flair won the Royal Rumble match, by lastly eliminating Shayna Baszler. On The Herd with Colin Cowherd, she reflected on comparing her and Becky Lynch to Thelma and Louise: “Becky and I call ourselves Thelma and Louise.

This roller coaster that we’ve been on professionally and personally makes us who we are today. I needed ‘The Man’ to be ‘The Queen’ and she needed ‘The Queen’ to be ‘The Man.’ And I don’t want to use the word jealousy, but there is such a competitive nature to both of us. I want to be the best, she wants to be the best, and that’s very important to have in this business”.
