Ryback discusses the possibility of WrestleMania being cancelled

Immediately after leaving WWE, Ryback announced that he was looking for booking offers from various independent federations. His entry into Northeast Wrestling was announced on August 25th. In WrestlePro Reeves he made his debut as The Big Guy and on October 15th, during a live event in New York, he won the WrestlePro Tag Team Championship with Pat Buck.

On his Conversations With the Big Guy show last week, the former WWE superstar discussed the possibility of WrestleMania being cancelled: “It’s be really easy to jump on Vince like, ‘Oh he’s a piece of s**t, he needs to cancel this.’ They’re far enough out right now where they’re probably going an eye on this, I would dare say, probably until the week before.

And they’ll have to make a call eventually. From a wrestler’s standpoint, [the show] is in Tampa now. And now they’re gonna bring people from all over the world to this location. My thing is, if I’m a wrestler and I’m a performer and they choose — and I’m speaking from the talent."

WrestleMania 36 is the upcoming 36th annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view and WWE Network event produced by WWE for their Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brands—the first to promote the NXT brand. It is scheduled to take place on April 5, 2020 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
