WrestleMania matches change due to Quarantine

Dana Brooke and Rey Mysterio will be under quarantine due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. This is according to a report released by Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Radio. On Monday, Brooke was apparently pulled from the Smackdown Women’s Title match at WrestleMania 36.

It was originally going to be a 6-pack elimination match. The participants were Brooke, champion Bayley, Tamina Snuka, Naomi, Lacey Evans, and Sasha Banks. Now, it will be a 5-way elimination match, as Brooke will not be in the match.

Brooke was pulled from the match as she is sick. She was placed under quarantine. WWE simply did not want her to compete as she is sick and does not want her to take any chances. It was also noted that the officials are pretty concerned about her health.

Mysterio is currently under quarantine due to the COVID-19 concern as well. WWE was already considering multiple ideas for the United States title at WrestleMania 36. According to the report, Rey was going to fight Andrade with his Title on the line.

This will most likely not take place now as Rey was pulled from WrestleMania 36. Andrade will now team up with Angel Garza to challenge The Street Profits for the RAW Tag Team Titles. The titles will be on the line for the match.

We have no received any comments from the superstars on social media. They might actually talk about the quarantine, but at the moment they are quiet. Many sports events had to be canceled after the Coronavirus pandemic. Even the WWE had to switch all of its events to the WWE Performance Center.
