Charlotte Flair Wins NXT Women’s Title

NXT is still considered a WWE Developmental brand, even though some popular WWE stars are a part of it. NXT had a very small fan base a few years back. Now, many people believe that NXT is actually better than Smackdown and RAW.

NXT was mainly run by Triple H and most creative decisions taken inside NXT had nothing to do with Vince McMahon. Ever since the Wednesday Night Wars started, NXT is receiving a major push by WWE. WWE needs to put some popular stars in the brand and continue to grow it to beat AEW Dynamite for good.

AEW Dynamite is putting up a seriously good fight, which basically means that NXT needs to perform a lot better to beat AEW Dynamite in ratings. WWE continued its rend of putting major Smackdown and RAW Superstars into NXT.

Charlotte Flair, the daughter of Ric Flair, won the NXT Women’s Title at WrestleMania 36 a few hours ago. That means we will most likely see Flair perform at NXT. Flair fought Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36 for the title.

Many journalists predicted that the match could go either way. Rhea is one of WWE’s rising stars and she is, without doubt, going to be pushed by WWE. That is why, many people thought that Rhea would beat Flair, which would be great for her career.

It appears that WWE had another idea. Putting Flair into NXT might actually work very well for the brand, that hasn’t really been able to bury AEW Dynamite in ratings. Charlotte Flair is, without doubt, one of the top women in WWE right now.

She was one of the women that took part in the main event of WrestleMania 35. She has feuded with some of the best women in WWE and had headlines several events as well.
