The latest Monday Night Raw episode saw the return of one of the most anticipated wrestlers on the "Red" show, the re-entering Kevin Owens. The wrestler had not appeared on stage since the victory spiced by a great performance over Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36.
Immediately, Owens explained the reasons for this prolonged absence, confirming to everyone what his initial reasons for the same were. There was a great deal of anticipation about the return of the wrestler stopped with precision from the first days of April.
During the episode, Owens was the protagonist at the Kevin Owens show hosting the group led by Zelina Vega and that was also composed of Andrade, Angel Garza and Austin Theory. The Canadian superstar also wrestled extensively on the independent circuit for 14 years, most notably in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he held the PWG World Championship a record three times, as well as the PWG World Tag Team Championship on three occasions.
He also competed for International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS), where he held three times the IWS World Heavyweight Championship, All American Wrestling (AAW), where he held the AAW Heavyweight Championship; and Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where he held the CZW Iron Man Championship.
He wrestled under the Kevin Owens name in Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) developmental branch NXT, where he was a one-time NXT Champion, before debuting on the main roster in May 2015. He has since held the Universal Championship once, the Intercontinental Championship twice, and the United States Championship three times.
