Bobby Lashley reveals what motivates him

On May 10th, at Money in the Bank, Bobby Lashley replaced MVP by defeating R-Truth without problems. In Raw's May 11th episode, Lashley defeated Humberto Carrillo in a No Disqualification match. In Raw's May 18th episode, Lashley defeated R-Truth for the second time.

During Lashley's first tenure with WWE, he was a two-time ECW World Champion and one-time United States Champion. Lashley is also known for his work in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling/Impact Wrestling, where he was a four-time TNA/Impact World Champion, a one-time X Division Champion, and one-time and final King of the Mountain Champion.

After returning to WWE in 2018, Lashley would become a two-time Intercontinental Champion. Between WWE and TNA/Impact, Lashley has won a total of eleven championships, six of those eleven being world championships, and has also headlined multiple pay-per-view events.

During a long interview with talkSPORT, he revealed what motivates him: “I definitely want to win a world title. I definitely want to. The years that I’ve put in the business and the matches I’ve had with so many different people, I definitely want to.

But another thing I want to do, and I hope this is not shooting myself in the foot or kicking myself in the butt, but when I first got in the wrestling business and I was first starting out, there were guys like myself who were a bit older in the business.

And one thing they did, they wanted to make the younger guys. But at the same it in making the younger guys, they had to have something credible for the younger guys to go after. And I think that I’m one of those guys.

The younger guys should be hungry to come and beat me. Because I’m not someone you should just be able to beat”.
