After last week's return, Apollo Crews finally had his revenge against the WWE US Champion, Andrade. As announced last week, the two superstars were expected to clash this Monday in a match valid for the title currently alongside the Mexican in the red show ring.
At the beginning of the episode, Apollo Crews shocked everyone, backing the reigning champion after a Standing Shooting Star Press and graduating for the first time American WWE champion. After a rather compelling match, therefore, the Monday Night Raw colored athlete snatches the title from the hands of Andrade, who after months of reign now finds himself with a handful of flies and with an anger that led him after the match to destroy backstage medium.
To remain somewhat bitter, there is also Zelina Vega, who after seeing her stable destroy last week, with Andrade and Angle Garza attacking Austin Theory, now we see a fantastic Apollo Crews snatching the title from the hands of his client , with Apollo thus receiving his first run titled since his WWE debut.
After the match, the new champion microphone in hand, also made a promo in which he said he never gave up and never followed the advice of those who told him to stop because he would never receive anything and all this he paid off because he is now the United States champion.
Crews started his career in 2009, originally working under the ring name Uhaa Nation, and made his breakthrough in 2011, when he was signed by the Dragon Gate USA promotion, which also led to him making his first trip to Japan to work for Dragon Gate.
In 2014, Uhaa signed with WWE and was assigned to its developmental brand NXT, where he was given the ring name, Apollo Crews. He was promoted to WWE's main roster in April 2016. Standing at 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) and weighing 240 lb (110 kg), Uhaa is known both as a high-flyer and a power wrestler.
