The Undertaker is definitely a future Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Famer. Many consider him to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. His character has also passed the test of time. He has fought some of the best wrestlers of all time, including the great Hulk Hogan.
The Undertaker has been doing a lot of interviews and public appearances recently. Many people believe that his match with AJ Styles was the last match of his life. He is quite old and he can’t wrestle the same way he used to.
The Undertaker on Losing to Hulk Hogan
He gave an interview with Peter Rosenberg recently. During the interview, he spoke about beating Hulk Hogan at the 1991 Survivor Series. He spoke about having to give the title back to Hulk Hogan after he allegedly injured Hulk during the match.
"That was crazy, it started out bad and progressively got worse," Undertaker said. "Hogan claims that I hurt him on the Tombstone during the pay-per-view (PPV), and I didn't find out till Tuesday, I didn't know I was going to drop the belt back, that came out of nowhere.
Maybe it's because he was telling everybody I hurt him. Hulk was still the golden goose at the time, so I was thinking they were going to take this [belt] off me because they couldn't trust me." The Undertaker continued his story by saying that he was devastated at the time when he learned that he would have to give the title to Hulk again.
"I was devastated," The Undertaker said. "It was a setup from the get-go. He was really nervous about taking my finish, so I said 'Hulk, believe me, I will protect you, I pride myself on not hurting people'
We went on with our business, every point during the day I passed him in the hall and he'd say 'Remember about my neck,' so that's all I got all day. Recently, the wrestling world is agog with rumours of The Undertaker's retirement. It remains to be seen if the Deadman shall decide to step out of the ring finally, after all.
