Triple H discusses Conor McGregor possibly coming to WWE

Triple H was the first World Heavyweight Champion, having received the title in September 2002, he won the King of the Ring (1997), the Royal Rumble (2002 and 2016) and was the second Grand Slam Championship winner. Outside of wrestling, he has made numerous film and television appearances.

Since mid-2013 he has created a storyline in which he and his wife Stephanie McMahon act as despotic and unscrupulous Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment co-owners, justifying everything by claiming to do what is best for the business: the duo who would later come to be known as "The Authority" and several other wrestlers will join it.

McMahon is the daughter of Vince McMahon, who is the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of WWE. She is the chief brand officer (CBO) of the company.

The Game has also won a number of championships in his career, being a five-time Intercontinental Champion, a three-time world tag team champion (two World Tag Team Championship reigns, and one Unified WWE Tag Team Championship reign), a two-time European Champion, and a fourteen-time world champion making him the company's seventh Triple Crown Champion and second Grand Slam Champion.

He is also a two-time Royal Rumble match winner and a King of the Ring tournament winner. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, HHH discussed Conor McGregor possibly coming to Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment. “I think that Conor McGregor versus Vince McMahon with that Billion Dollar Walk on the line? I think that’s a match made in heaven!

Yeah, you know, guys like him, there’s a lot of interest from a lot of — I think the nature of what we do, even entertainment and everything we do, it lends itself to combat sports. It lends itself to people like Conor McGregor or Ronda Rousey or others as it does with Tyson Fury, and it did in the past with Mike Tyson, or it did in the past with Floyd Mayweather.

Entertaining people are what makes those fights interesting a lot of times. Yes, the styles and the fight itself, but the entertainment component, that ability to capture people as a personality, that’s what really makes those fights.

Same in our business. If you can transfer that over and be really larger than life. That’s the key,” said Triple H.
