Former WWE superstar Sarah Logan stepping away from wrestling

In the long month of April, WWE decided to release several of its employees, starting with wrestlers up to referees, road agents, office workers and other members of its crew. Among the many that were superfluous in the WWE roster in a period like that of the pandemic, which led WWE to cancel all the live events not filmed by the cameras and all those paid events where the public is no longer present for the moment, there was also the former Riott Squad member, Sarah Logan.

The former WWE athlete, released in the height of the pandemic period by the McMahon federation, in fact, would have found himself overnight without employment, even if initially the WWE had to continue to use it in some angles during Monday Night Raw, idea that was eventually shipwrecked.

The Wild and Free TV is her and her husband's (WWE star Erik) YouTube Channel that they launched in May. Sarah Logan was released from WWE in April as a part of the company-wide cuts brought on by COVID-19.

"A lot has changed in my life recently and I have stepped away from wrestling for the foreseeable future. Wrestling is all I've known since I was 17 so it's time I let myself focus on other things and explored other parts of myself.

So if you wanna take this crazy ride then buckle up because things have been moving faster than I can keep up. My efforts have been on @thewildandfreetv and that's the best way to keep up. We're releasing some awesome content.

I don't say this enough but I appreciate you guys and hope to see ya down the line." At Elimination Chamber, she was the third entrant but the first to be eliminated by Baszler, who was the eventual winner, earning a shot at the Raw women's title and setting a record by eliminating every other woman, in what was essentially a squash match.

On the April 13, 2020 edition of Raw, Logan was defeated by Baszler in a Women's Money in the Bank qualifying match, in what ended up being her final match for the company. Logan might be having fun shooting her guns, but her former Riott Squad sisters Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott seem to be reuniting on Raw.

That also included a change of creative plans for Liv Morgan. Sarah Logan is married to Raymond Rowe of the Viking Raiders so she’ll always have ties to wrestling. We’ll have to see if she comes back to the ring eventually, but she seems happy with her new career path.
