Kane talks about Donald Trump

Kane is considered one of the most underestimated WWE wrestlers, but his importance and loyalty to the company are considered invaluable, so much so that the definition of "glue" of the roster is worth to him. In an interview with The TaxPayers’ Alliance, he discussed what he likes and dislikes about President Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump is a very divisive figure, and he’s a very polarizing figure. And really the reason for that is because he has an abrasive personality and is very, there’s a lot of stuff where I’m like, ‘Dude, you’re right, but say it a little differently, OK?’" asked Kane.

"And also realize, you have to work with people more. His attitude is sometimes dictatorial. But also, I think that he is portrayed in the media a certain way because he does threaten the entire establishment, the entire power structure.

On the left, we kind of see that with Bernie Sanders. Bernie was the guy that would disrupt everything. Trump was that on the right. Whatever his shortcomings, I do believe that’s a good thing because we do have an entrenched establishment around the world.

They run things, and I think a lot of times, they think that they should run things. They have this paternalistic attitude, they know better. The best thing about Donald Trump is he is a disruption. Whether you agree with him or not, he is not status quo, and that causes issues for sure, and there’s things I don’t agree with Trump on, but in the end, again, I think that it’s beneficial that you have someone who will at least make us question those power structures," he added.

Within WWE, Kane is a three-time world champion (having held the WWF Championship, ECW Championship and World Heavyweight Championship once each) and a 12-time world tag team champion (having held the World Tag Team Championship, WCW Tag Team Championship and WWE Tag Team Championships with various partners).

He is also a two-time Intercontinental Champion and a Money in the Bank winner, as well as the third man to complete WWE's Grand Slam. Kane holds the record for cumulative Royal Rumble match eliminations at 44. The last title Kane won was the 24/7 Championship on September 16, 2019, the only title won under his real name.

On May 1, 2018, he won the Republican primary election for the mayoral seat of Knox County, and on August 2, went on to win the general election.
