WWE Legend Kane will not be able to make it to a political event. He was invited as a guest at the fundraising event for Eric Brakey. According to reports, Kane is suffering from some kind of health problem. The problem has not been made public but it might not be COVID-19.
Kane is a legendary wrestler, and he made his WWE debut nearly 20 years ago. He was one of the few wrestlers that were immediately given a push right after their debut in WWE. Kane was given an awesome storyline. He was supposed to be The Undertaker’s half-brother.
He immediately starting feuding with The Undertaker, who was one of WWE’s top wrestlers in the late 1990s. The Undertaker and Kane had several matches. Even though they were on the opposite ends of the ring most of the time, they eventually formed a team.
They were then known as the Brothers of Destruction. The last time we saw The Undertaker and Kane perform as the Brother’s of Destruction was back in 2018 when they took on Degeneration X at that year’s Crown Jewel event.
Kane has remained quite inactive for the past few months. He is still a WWE superstar but he is kind of semi-retired. Just like many other smart WWE wrestlers, he knew that he couldn’t last wrestle forever and is currently the Mayor of Knox County.
He is actually a very popular Mayor as many people know him as he was quite famous in the WWE. WWE has also promoted him on several occasions and he even played the role of Corporate Kane, who was a heel version of Kane. It actually helped him start an awesome feud with the former WWE wrestler CM Punk, who was also a top draw in the WWE in the early 2010s.
WWE Legend Kane Is Going to Miss Political Event
The event that Kane is going to miss is called Liberty and Lobsters. This event has now been postponed. Eric Brakey is running for election to the U.S. House. He is scheduled to represent Maine's 2nd Congressional District.
Here is the official statement released by the campaign’s team. “Unfortunately, we must postpone tonight's previously scheduled Liberty and Lobsters event. Our special guest Mayor Glenn Jacobs (Kane) has come down with a health issue.
While it is not serious, it does make it impossible for him to attend. A new date for the event will be announced in the coming weeks. We'll keep you posted regarding the new date and details. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you at an event in the future! - Brakey for Congress Team”
