WWE provides Charlotte Flair injury update

In the last episode of Raw, some updates on the injury of the wrestler Charlotte Flair have been revealed. In recent weeks the multiple-time champion has suffered a backstage attack from Nia Jax, reporting a potential fracture of the clavicle.

In reality, Charlotte will undergo surgery for an injury (not officially confirmed) and it is not excluded that she has already undergone the surgery. The initial reports indicated the champion out of the WWE for a few months due to the injury, but the reality is totally different and showed that the athlete will only be out for a few weeks.

News on Charlotte Flair

As noted, WWE announced last week that Charlotte Flair had suffered a "potential collarbone fracture" during the backstage attack from Nia Jax, which came after Flair's non-title win over RAW Women's Champion Asuka.

The storyline injury update from Tom Phillips on tonight's RAW noted that Flair does have a left collarbone fracture. The storyline is that Jax caused the fracture during the backstage attack. Flair is reportedly undergoing surgery for an undisclosed injury soon if she hasn't had the operation already.

There were reports of Flair being on the shelf for several months but she recently dismissed that talk and said she only will be gone for "a few weeks." While there were rumors Charlotte would be healthy and ready to perform by August's SummerSlam event, it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

TalkSport reports that the Diva's return could be postponed until King of the Ring 2021. After winning the RAW Women's Championship 4 times, the SmackDown Women's Championship 5 times, the NXT Championship 2 times and the WWE Divas Championship 1 time, she is the most decorated women in WWE with 12 titles.

Also, she became one fo the two first women to headline a WWE pay-per-view event in October 2016 (alongside Sasha Banks) and one of three women to headline WrestleMania, WWE's flagship annual event, in April 2019 (alongside Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey).

During her feud with Sasha Banks, they also were the first women to compete in a Hell in a Cell match. Flair's athletic skills have been praised several times. In the meantime, Charlotte Flair dropped a photo that would make anyone stop their endless scroll. The Queen posted a photo in black lingerie. Vince McMahon could have big plans for Charlotte Flair.
