WWE Star Charlotte Flair, who is also the daughter of WWE Legend Ric Flair, recently spoke about her Last Woman Standing Match. This year, WWE celebrated the fifth-year anniversary of WWE Women’s Evolution. The women’s evolution helped women inside WWE.
They are now taken more seriously and some of them are even main event stars. Charlotte works hard because she has her father’s name to carry. She found most of her success when she went up against Becky Lynch in a Last woman standing match.
Since then, Charlotte has won many titles over the course of her career.
Charlotte Flair on the Best Match of Her Career
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch fought in 2018. It was considered to be the best match that Charlotte had in her career.
She later went on to main event WrestleMania 35 with Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey. Charlotte revealed that she and Becky wanted the match to be memorable. "It's hard to say which match is the best match of my career because I feel like I play different roles in different matches," Charlotte commented.
"Like with Becky, I play one role, and then when I was wrestling, say Trish [Stratus] or Asuka, I play another role. "I think what made this match so special was [that] we were on a show with all the women from the past, who have helped develop women of the present and future.
We wanted to prove that she was 'The Man' of the division, and I was 'The Queen' of the division. No matter what, we just wanted to have the best match on an all-female show." Charlotte is currently part of NXT.
NXT is the brand that is currently fighting against AEW Dynamite. It needed the star power that it got from Charlotte. Charlotte quickly rose to the top of NXT, just as she did in the past. She managed to beat Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Title quite easily.
"I felt like an outsider," she laughed. "It's incredible what they've done. For NXT being the third brand, I couldn't be more proud of them. I wish I had more time to develop more stories with all of these stars."
Charlotte Flair is currently recovering from a surgical procedure. "I'm going crazy sitting at home," she admitted. "[I sit there thinking], 'Should I have done this better, should I have done that better.' I don't do well with downtime. I love being in the mix," she said.
