Update on Charlotte Flair's WWE future

Charlotte Flair was one of the most discussed figures of the whole WWE during 2020. In the very first phase of the lockdown, in fact, the daughter of art not only graduated as the surprise NXT champion (she did it by beating Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36), but she was seen building a good part of her storylines on an absolute presence that saw her actively taking part not only in the yellow and black show, but also in Raw (of which she is actually part of the roster) and in SmackDown.

Substantially always inserted in the events titled of all the roster, Charlotte has collected world titles in recent years, also sparking protests from a slice of fans. In the meantime, however, her figure has disappeared from WWE also for the new television project that recently involved her.

All this triggered a small hurricane of rumors, including those that suggested a long break or even a possible farewell to wrestling. An unclear situation, on which some insiders have tried to clarify in these hours.

News on Charlotte Flair

One of them is Dave Meltzer, who on his 'Wrestling Observer Radio' has pointed out that in addition to the aforementioned television project, Charlotte Flair recently underwent surgery after an injury reported in June.

However, it remains at the center of WWE's projects, so much so that the company would like to bring it back to its shows in time to play a match at SummerSlam. This, however, is not yet said to materialize. Ryan Satin of 'Wrestling Sheet' also intervened in all this, who stressed that the television show in which Charlotte Flair will take part will not be a reality show, but "a show with a pre-established script, and curated by a large television network" .

In short, something related to the show and not to wrestling, but all in all with a setting similar to the shows to which Charlotte Flair is already widely accustomed. Except that he will be focusing on something completely new for her career.

The 34-year-old shared she will need surgery to correct complications following a breast implant procedure. “My air conditioning is broken, and we have a little free time,” tweeted Flair. “These tweets may be spaced out a bit, but we're going to talk time off, plastic surgery and boobs.

The entire world having an opinion on the topic bothers me more than I care to let on, so we are going to discuss it”.
