*Spoiler* Sasha Banks and Bayley make WWE history

In the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw aired last Monday, Sasha Banks finally got her hands on the Monday Night Raw champion belt, defeating Asuka in a very particular match, in which an athlete would have been deprived of the title also if it had been counted out of the ring or disqualified, stipulation wanted by Stephanie McMahon in the last episode of the red show.

The victory came in the hands of the company's Boss thanks to the providential help of her friend Bayley, who attacking Kairi Sane in the backstage of the Performance Center also heavily distracted the champion Asuka, who ended up being counted to save her friend out of the ring for the fateful 10 seconds by the referee on duty.

Sasha Banks and Bayley make WWE history

With the official victory by Sasha Banks of the world title of Raw, (after the fictitious one of Extreme Rules), the two tag team champions actually enter the restricted circle of tag teams who managed to win both a single title and a couple title at the same time in the federation rings.

Until now, only four other teams in the history of the whole WWE have succeeded, among others totally made up of men. The incredible statistics have been reported by the now well-known Twitter profile that is dedicated to the numbers and statistics of the McMahon company, WWE Stats, which has announced that the couple formed by Sasha Banks and Bayley will officially be added to those formed from: Triple H and Steve Austin, Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart and British Bulldog and Ken Shamrock and Big Bossman.

Obviously all the couples mentioned, at the time of their victories also had belts of secondary importance with them and not necessarily a world title. Despite this, it is clear how all the athletes involved in this enviable list, have become over the years or WWE Hall of Famer or in any case legendary characters in the history of the federation, with a great starting point also for the girls of Raw and Smackdown, who now have a rosy future ahead of them, which we couldn't have said about Sasha Banks just a year ago or so.

Bayley and Sasha Banks are the only female team on the list. The other four teams on the list are Triple H and Steve Austin, Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart and The British Bulldog, Ken Shamrock and Big Boss Man.
