AEW Star Chris Jericho recently spoke about MJF nearly joining The Inner Circle. MJF is one of the most talented heels that AEW has. All Elite Wrestling signed Jericho even before their first show and he has since then become one of AEW’s top stars. He is currently working as a heel wrestler.
"He was asked, but we never got to the point of actually making him a part of the stable," Jericho revealed on his Saturday Night Special podcast.

MJF actually started working as a babyface in AEW. He came out during the second episode of AEW Dynamite. MJF rescued Cody Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, and The Young Bucks that night. They were being badly beaten by the Inner Circle. MJF did it to prove that he is loyal to Cody.
Jericho went on to praise MJF during his podcast. He stated that the State of The Industry promo cut by MJF was spectacular. However, Jericho maintained that he is “still the best promo” in All Elite Wrestling. He stated that he will prove just how good he is on the mic when he debates Orange Cassidy. The debate will take place soon on AEW Dynamite.
"Last week, MJF cut such an incredible promo, to announce his candidacy to be the next champion. As good as his promo was, I want to make sure that I remind people of who the best promo in AEW is. MJF is great but he is not better than me just yet," added Jericho.
Chirs Jericho has also stated that MJF will win the AEW World title. The title currently belongs to Jon Moxley, fka Dean Ambrose. Jon is also a former WWE star and was an integral part of The Shield. The Shield consisted of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. Jon and MJF will fight each other on the 5th of September at AEW All Out.
"MJF is great, he has everything it takes to become the next AEW champion. I would probably like to see him becoming the champion, I am a big supporter of him."
