CM Punk Comments on WWE RAW Underground

Former WWE Star CM Punk recently spoke about WWE RAW Underground. It was a small segment that was met with plenty of mixed reactions. The reactions were quite mixed. CM Punk actually stated that he liked the concept. The segment actually includes MMA type fights and Punk actually wants to see women involved in it as well.

Punk was with Bookert T and Ranee Young for the SummerSlam 1992 Watch Along. The show aired on FS1. Punk shared the following thoughts: "I absolutely loved it. I want to see Nia Jax in there. They should get more women in there.

Let us see some bodies getting broken," Punk said.

CM Punk then spoke about whether or not RAW underground will be a Monday Night RAW show only. "The idea that Shane McMahon and all these people would be in the Performance Center for the whole three hours and they cut into what they're doing in various segments is pretty cool.

Three hours of no holds barred fights and strippers, that's all I want to see," added Punk. Booker T then went on to say that CM Punk came to his mind as soon as he saw RAW Underground. This is probably due to the fact that Punk has fought in an MMA octagon before.

"As soon as I saw the preview - a shoot-fighting concept and all, bringing the noise - the first person I thought of was CM Punk. I know the money has to be right, but maybe this thing will lure Punk back to WWE," joked Booker T.

Punk went on to say, "You want me to get that first MMA win, right?" He was actually referring to his MMA record. Punk has fought twice in the UFC. He never won any fight. Punk then went on to say that he would love to see Young wrestle Bayley.

"Renee, I think you should fight Bayley. This is the end of the world anyway, with the pandemic and everything. This is just going to degenerate into gladiator fights again," said Punk. Many people believe that CM Punk might return to WWE as WWE Backstage has been discontinued.

CM Punk was actually hired by FOX to work as an analyst on WWE Backstage. WWE did not hire him. Many people want Vince McMahon to put his difference with CM Punk aside to bring the popular former superstar back into the WWE ranks.
