A few weeks ago at Friday Night Smackdown we witnessed a particular meeting between 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt and WWE chairman Vince McMahon.
It was the first edition of the new WWE ThunderDome Vince McMahon had come out in the ring to present everything to the fans and The Fiend interrupted him by intervening in the ring: the two remained in the ring and neither seemed to retreat, then the intervention of Braun Strowman stopped everything and Vince McMahon suddenly disappeared from the ring. That clash remained quite impressed in the eyes of the WWE Universe and there was a lot of speculation that Vince McMahon could have a role in a plssive storyline with The Fiend.
What's next for 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt?
Over the course of their podcast Wade Keller and Tyler Sage discussed various possibilities regarding this situation. Here are their statements: "If you want to go into a deep narrative, I mean a few weeks ago we saw Vince McMahon and The Fiend staring into each other's eyes and there was speculation. Vince McMahon disappeared on that occasion just like it sometimes does. to The Fiend and from there various speculations started."
Both Wade Keller and Tyler Sage have appeared to agree that there could be something much more significant behind this story and only a character like Vince McMahon could participate in a confrontation as the WWE Chairman was never afraid of anything. After losing the title of Universal WWE Champion, there is a lot of curiosity about what WWE will decide to do with Bray Wyatt and other rumors speak of a possible long-term feud between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. In the last episode of Friday Night Smackdown Bray also appeared in the Firefly Fun House where he made few statements but especially in the finale he released very important phrases and revealed to fans that in the next week there will be a new member of the Firefly Fun House. It is not known at the moment if we are talking about a puppet or a real character.
'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt lost the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns at WWE Payback. It is rumored that the company is planning a long-term feud between Reigns and Wyatt in the coming time. It will be interesting to see what role Vince McMahon might play in The Fiend's future, and how WWE might develop the story. He further added that there is a deeper meaning to the story and even Wade Keller agreed. However, they also talked about how it could just be a short-sighted segment just to get Vince McMahon over as someone who is afraid of nothing.
