*Spoiler* New contenders for WWE NXT show up on latest episode

On the night dedicated to NXT that aired on USA Network on Wednesday, 23rd September, Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) put up some really crackling matches, with both certificates of n°1 contender for the absolute title and the female category, which were awarded to two wrestlers who are still emerging from the roster's shadows, who so far had only gone in a few matches for the absolute belts of the yellow roster of the McMahon-owned company.

Already on the eve of the evening, Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) had heavily advertised both matches to multiple people who would be crowned the new No. 1 contenders for the male and female titles, with the match to find Finn Balor's challenger who was a real historical contention, with the first Gauntlet Eliminator match in WWE history having finally seen the light.

WWE NXT: Kyle O'Reilly and Candice LeRae become the new No. 1 contenders

As for men, in the famous Gauntlet Eliminator match in which you did not have to pin your opponent to wait for a new one to enter, but you had to wait only 4 minutes before a new challenger entered to wage war with those already in the ring, to triumph in the multi-man match was the member of the Undisputed Era, Kyle O'Reilly, who managed to get the better of Bronson Reed, KUSHIDA, Timothy Thatcher and Cameron Grimes, making Grimes surrender last, putting the word end of the match.

Now in the next TakeOver that will stage Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) third roster, O 'Reilly will face reigning NXT champion Finn Balor in a match that already smells like a masterpiece of technique and surprise.

As for the women's match of the evening on the NXT schedule, Candice LeRae, partner of Johnny Gargano, who last eliminated Shotzi Blackheart in the Battle Royal dedicated to them, got the better of her colleagues, earning the right to fight against the Io Shirai champion in the next NXT TakeOver, with Gargano instead going to battle with the North American champion, always in the same Pay-Per-View (PPV).

In a tweet acknowledging this development that occurred on NXT, Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) shared through its official Twitter account, "SHE DID THAT. @CandiceLeRae has eliminated @ShotziWWE to win the No. 1 Contender's #BattleRoyal in the Take Off to TakeOver! #WWENXT"
