Drew McIntyre on Wanting to Face The Undertaker

Drew McIntyre, the current WWE Champion, spoke about wanting to face The Undertaker. According to many wrestling fans, the Undertaker is the greatest wrestling character of all-time. The Undertaker was able to pass the test of time and we saw many versions of The Undertaker.

The Undertaker made his WWE debut in the early 1990s. Before that, he was an average WCW star. Drew was on DC101 where he spoke about various wrestling related topics. He first spoke about the current state of both flagship brands, as he might be drafted to Smackdown soon.

"I'm excited to see how it [the WWE Draft] shakes out," said McIntyre. "I'm very happy and proud of everything I've done on RAW as WWE Champion, but I can't predict the future. Things could change.

I could have a new home." Drew then spoke about his WWE return. Drew left WWE for a very long time and worked at Impact Wrestling. That is where he got famous. He spoke about the various storylines, including one with AJ Styles.

"I came back to WWE, and we're both bad guys on RAW. As such, [a feud] was not going to happen. Then, when I finally turned into a good guy, AJ disappears and moves over to SmackDown," rued McIntyre. He joked, "I think he's running from me!

Drew then sent a warning to Brock Lesnar, who is the former WWE Champion. Lesnar is currently away from WWE TV. We have not seen him for a very long time. "I had Lesnar's number every step of the way, which not many people can say.

Every time, he showed up, I dropped him with my Claymore. And at WrestleMania, I defeated him in 5 minutes. Brock knows what I'm all about now. I'm not going to get confident, not going to get cocky, it's still Brock Lesnar, but I'll drop him again if he shows up."

Drew McIntyre then revealed that he insisted Vince McMahon for a match against the Undertaker at next year’s wrestleMania. However, it is unlikely to happen as The Undertaker has unofficially retired. Although in his documentary, The Undertaker kept the door to return open.

He said, "In his Last Ride documentary on the WWE Network, he [The Undertaker] said he will always come when Vince McMahon calls. So, every single week, I prod Vince McMahon to 'make the call, make the call!'"
