A few months ago WWE removed the merchandising on the official website of one of the biggest superstars of recent years, namely The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. Shortly thereafter, the federation revealed that Lesnar's contract had expired and that the club decided not to renew it.
After WrestleMania 36, WWE decided to break ties with the wrestler who is still without a contract today.
Huge Brock Lesnar angle off
Fightful Select colleagues revealed that WWE had big plans for Brock Lesnar and everyone was dreaming of a big match against Lars Sullivan.
The Freak's debut didn't go as planned due to the anxiety attack that blocked the wrestler. In 2019 Lars Sullivan was supposed to debut on Raw but this thing stopped everything and the wrestler entered the scene at SmackDown a few months later when he attacked surprising everyone Kurt Angle.
Then Sullivan got involved in an affair with the Lucha House Party and immediately suffered a knee injury that kept him out of the ring for several months. After some time in the last episode of Friday Night Smackdown, on the first day of the WWE Draft, Lars Sullivan attacked The Miz, Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle.
What is certain is that the WWE Universe would certainly have appreciated a meeting between Lars Sullivan and The Beast Incarnate. We haven't seen Brock Lesnar in the WWE rings for months and in particular since WrestleMania 36 when he was defeated in minutes and lost the WWE Champion title to Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre.
Over the last few months there has been a lot of talk about Brock Lesnar's future and after leaving the WWE ring, it would seem that the former WWE Champion and former Universal Champion, could soon return to the UFC octagons to return to cover one of the most important roles in Dana White's company.
The one who revealed this news was the well-known reporter of the Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer who made it clear that Lesnar's return to the UFC would be one of the company's priorities. After his delayed debut, Sullivan managed to destroy some Superstars…but never got close to anyone approaching Lesnar’s stature.
He suffered a knee injury in late 2019, and only just returned on the October 9th edition of SmackDown. With Lars Sullivan back, but Brock Lesnar no longer with the company, it does make us wonder. Will we ever see such an epic clash? Knowing how WWE thinks, especially as Brock Lesnar is concerned, if they see such a match as a big draw it will happen down the road.
