As we saw extensively during the last few episodes of Monday Night Raw, Lana has been targeted multiple times by the company's female tag team champion Nia Jax, who takes stabs at Rusev's wife every week (now Miro in AEW) and throws her on the commentary table of the red show reporters, leaving her in tears and sore after the attack.
After yet another attack of this type, even the athlete's husband, who was the companion of the beautiful blonde also in the WWE rings until last April, the month of her release, wanted to comment on the treatment in a rather elegant way that the WWE leadership would be pinning to his wife Lana, with the latter still continuing to work head-on, saying yes to whatever the company wants her to do.
Miro is currently a part of AEW
In his latest interview with Inside The Ropes, the former WWE Rusev wanted to break a lance against his wife, guilty of being harassed by the WWE, perhaps for his arrival in AEW, with Miro who in fact stated: "I'm not running his shows, I have no idea.
All I know is that she is stronger than anyone else out there on that roster because clearly, this is the first time in history that such a thing has been done. And every single time, she goes out there and does what she has to do.
He never says no. He never says 'I don't want to do this' He never stops selling the binding. She goes out there and does her job and she does it perfectly. Because as you can see, in that ring, when that moment comes, you can see who works with love and dedication and who sits on his ass all the time.
And I'm fucking proud of CJ because he is proving to us that he is one of the most talented and underrated people the entire wrestling community has within it." Miro stressed how Lana will always go out to the ring, be a professional, and do her job to perfection.
According to him, “[…] you can see, in that ring, when she gets that time, you can see who’s who and who’s been working, and who’s been sitting on their a***s the whole time”. In his debut, he took thinly veiled shots at WWE and called AEW the best in the business.
These statements were not appreciated by WWE, which is probably the reason Lana has to endure the pain. Miro took a shot at WWE in his promo during his first AEW appearance, and it seems like Vince McMahon wasn't happy at all.
The WWE Universe has been bashing WWE for doing the exact same spot with Lana six times in a row. Here's hoping this angle leads to something good for The Ravishing Russian and doesn't share the same fate as the Lana-Rusev-Bobby Lashley angle did earlier this year.
