After stating in an interesting interview that according to him, "the challenge between Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns will be seen in the future as that between Steve Austin and The Rock", Triple H and the rest of the WWE management may have changed their minds about the fate of the WWE Championship ahead of the company's next Big Four: Survivor Series.
During the last episode of Friday Night Smackdown aired in the night, in fact, the Scottish ex WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, arrived with the "psychopath of Glasgow" who went to indirectly challenge Roman Reigns, who did nothing but talk about his Survivor Series challenge against Randy Orton, although in the next edition of Monday Night Raw there is a title match valid for that WWE Championship, which The Viper had snatched from Hell in a Cell from the Scottish wrestler.
In what had been the opening segment of the evening, an unsanctioned match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre was thus sanctioned, obviously at the behest of the Tribal Chief of the Anoa'i family, Roman Reigns.

During what was the main event, however, Roman Reigns appeared at ringside, to distract McIntyre and allow his cousin Jey to take some advantage, which however did not serve in front of the destructive force of a Claymore Kick, which brought him Scottish to a clean and clear victory.
After the match, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns came face to face at ringside, with the two obviously frowning at each other, with a challenge not yet formalized that could come, however, from next Monday's Raw match and that would already be making the mouth water of WWE Universe fans, that if Randy Orton were to lose in just two days, they would not be dissatisfied with the huge challenge Champion vs Champion that would thus form the Survivor Series.
On SmackDown, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are getting high praise for their exceptional 'bloodline' storyline. Seth Rollins, Murphy, Rey and Dominik Mysterio have also been involved in a gripping angle, proving that there's a real quality running through the blue brand's card.
RAW Superstars are impressing too. Drew McIntyre was carrying WWE through the early part of the pandemic era, while The Hurt Business is working as the company's top heels right now.
