There are a very few personalities that are memorable in the wrestling industry. Some wrestlers, announcers and commentators take a permanent place in our hearts. Gene Okerlund was one of them. He recently passes away at the age of 76, and the wrestling industry mourned his loss.
He was a professional wrestler and turned into a backstage interviewer after his retirement. He is one of the best interviewers the wrestling industry has ever produced. He has interviewed many legends and has also been part of many memorable storylines. He was signed with the WWE before he passed away and made sporadic appearances.
