The long-awaited match between Bill Goldberg and the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the WWE Hall of Famer has not even been staged yet "You're Next!" In his last interview, in fact, Da Man made the list of Superstars he would like to face once the feud that binds him to the Big Dog of Smackdown for about a year is over.
Although a match between Reigns and Goldberg never made it to the WWE rings, due to the worldwide pandemic that forced Roman home for months, also making him miss the very important Wrestlemania 36 match against Da Man, apparently the Hall of Famer by McMahon seems to have no desire to retire, with one of his latest interviews that raises the bar at least for a few more years, as the maximum age to fight 60 years.
Goldberg is rumored to challenge Roman Reigns soon
In another clip from his lengthy Bleacher Report interview, Bill Goldberg also mentioned several other WWE athletes he would like to challenge before retiring for good, with some very notable names having in fact come out of Da Man's mouth, which he revealed.
: "I'm a business type, a company type, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to have a match with Randy Orton. Hands down, he's one of the best in the whole business. His professionalism, his constantly developing character, his in-ring work, his promos, everything.
I'm a huge fan of his and have been for a long time. He really has it in his blood and he's in his family and only God knows how long he's been at the top of the food chain because he's always been there for me.
I'd love to work with Randy again. I'd like to work with Drew. I'd like to get in the ring with Keith Lee too. There are still a lot of people who attract me out there." Apparently, despite the athlete's no younger age, the idea of retirement for Bill Goldberg, with a career reborn just a few years ago, would still seem quite distant.
which literally exploded in the WWE rings, like never before to a wrestler who was actually already considered retired. Goldberg also revealed during the above interview that he isn't planning to retire anytime soon. Hence, fans might see the WWE Hall of Famer possibly take on all the three Superstars mentioned above.
The two were originally scheduled to go one-on-one at WrestleMania 36 earlier this year before Roman Reigns backed out of it at the last moment due to issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
