Many great female wrestlers have worked for the WWE. Some extremely talented indie female wrestlers joined the WWE, got recognized for their talent and gained fame world-wide. Some of the current female wrestlers came out of WWE’s development center and NXT.
In other words, WWE has always been home to the greatest female wrestlers of all time. Some former WWE Women’s Champion have continued working in the indie circuit after leaving the company or joined rival promotions.
Some have done really well, others have done alright. Victoria is one of the female wrestlers that did very well after leaving the company. Her real name is Lisa Marie Varon. She had a great run with the WWE and won her first WWE Woman’s Championship Title in 2002 at a Survivor Series event.
She is also a former 5 time TNA Knockouts Champion. She also won a knockouts tag team title once in her career during her run with TNA. She is one of the most accomplished female wrestlers of the past decade. She recently announced on her Instagram that 2019 will be her last year in wrestling.
She wrote: “Hey Gang!!! Year 2019 will be my last year wrestling in the Squared Circle. An exciting new adventure is to come.
