Maria Kanellis gets brutally honest about Vince McMahon

During the usual ROH Strong podcast, former superstar Maria Kanellis talked about her experience in WWE, her return and much more, also talking about the attitude of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Maria was a prominent WWE wrestler between 2004 and 2010 and then returned to the company between 2017 and 2020.

Here are some of the statements from the First Lady of Wrestling: "Vince McMahon gave me an opportunity and I must say thanks to him above all and to Kevin Dunn, among others those who have decided to try again and bring me back.

Along the way, I was offered incredible opportunities and thanks to Vince I was able to travel the world and visit many beautiful places."

Maria Kanellis has doubts about WWE and Vince McMahon's beliefs

During the interview, the beautiful wrestler also made some precision by teasing the attitude of the master and absolute owner of the Stamford company.

You said about it: "While I can and must appreciate all the opportunities Vince has given me in the past, as far as Vince McMahon is concerned I would really like him to learn to listen to the past. In the past he has always worked, he created a sector from scratch, he reached and is now the pinnacle of professional wrestling, but at some point, you have to show the world that you can change."

Maria Kanellis, in general, said that by changing, Vince McMahon would have the opportunity to improve his industry even more. The wrestler said that rival WWE companies are doing well but at the same time don't enjoy the reach that Vince McMahon's company enjoys.

Then she continued: "The WWE has competitors and they are doing a great job but they don't have the reach and to change that I think it will take generations. Vince McMahon, however, must be far-sighted and not behave like the football player in high school who praises himself for the fantastic match he made."

Maria Kanellis highlighted that there are many things that WWE says that they don't believe in, and if they did, she, her husband, and several other people would not have been released during the pandemic. "Let's move forward and see what else you got.

Are you now a family man, and do you really mean it, or is that some kind of marketing ploy. There are a lot of things that the company says that they do not truly believe because if they did, my husband and I would not have been fired this year, along with a lot of other wonderful people."
