Kayla Braxton is a popular WWE personality and she recently responded to some mean comments that she received. The comments were related to COVID. Kayla Braxton is one of the many WWE employees that recently contracted the virus.
WWE is one of the only wrestling promotions in the world that could work relatively normally during the pandemic. Most wrestling promotions had to stop operations immediately after the pandemic started as most states in the US disallowed large gatherings. Even WWE had to stop doing live shows and stop during shows in arenas, even though WWE deemed themselves an “essential business”. WWE started taping its shows inside the WWE Performance Center. The Performance Center was absolutely empty when they did their tapings.
Kayla Braxton Responds to Jokes Related to COVID
These days WWE has virtual fans that are in attendance during the shows. We do not know how long will this continue as the pandemic is still a thing. The vaccines themselves are not being rolled out to Americans to end the pandemic swiftly.
Kayla Braxton ripped some of her fans for nasty comments that were left on her social media. Those comments came in the form of jokes and Kayla got furious at people for actually making the whole virus a joke.
Braxton tweeted, "While I was at work tonight, I got a call that someone very close to me died of covid. And as I logged on to this platform tonight, I noticed multiple disgusting tweets tagging me to make jokes about me when I had the virus early this year. FU*K you."
Kayla Braxton tested positive for the second time in her life. This is another proof that the immunity against the virus only lasts for a very short time. She also used this misfortune to actually spread awareness about the virus.
"Was keeping it quiet but since everyone else is sharing, I feel like it is my responsibility to share this PSA: YOU CAN GET COVID-19 MORE THAN ONCE! I had it back in early March and then thought I was invincible after I recovered. Not true. Don't be dumb like me," Kayla Braxton wrote. WWE was recently hit by another COVID outbreak. Even WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre recently contracted the disease and is now under quarantine even though he is reported to show no symptoms of the disease.
