Chris Jericho jokes that his son could beat Kurt Angle

The world of social media has long since become common also in the world of wrestling. In fact, not only from the various Twitter, Instagram and Facebook some rivalries start but sometimes our darlings use these platforms to exchange words publicly.

The latest example is the dialogue between Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle, with the former jokingly warning the latter. The former WWE champion, frontman of the band Fozzy and current wrestler All Elite, the federation of which he was also a maximum champion, celebrated his son Ash on his Instagram profile for having achieved two victories in academic wrestling on the same day, tagging precisely the 'Olympic Gold who, as we all know, has been talking about himself since he started competing in these competitions, adding jokingly to be careful of his son.

Chris Jericho on Kurt Angle

Chris Jericho posted a photo of his son during a match and didn't hide his emotions at all, as the following words go: "I had so much fun seeing @ ash_irvine924 win not one but two matches!

I literally jumped to my feet when he pinned his opponent. What a great feeling, both as a father and as a wrestler. Be careful @therealkurtangle!" View this post on Instagram A post shared by Chris Jericho (@chrisjerichofozzy) We remind you that Kurt Angle was a great Olympic athlete as well as being a wrestler respected all over the world and remained in the history of the discipline, especially after his very important Olympic victory in 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia, in which Kurt Angle managed to win with two broken cervical vertebrae and competing with excruciating pain that haunted him.

Although at the moment it is obviously not possible to know if Jericho's son will have a future in pro-wrestling like many other sons of art (such as Dominik Mysterio, who did so much good during 2020), what is certain is that the two Legends seem to have remained in great friendship after all these years spent together in the sport-entertainment business par excellence, in which they shared joys and sorrows.

As many wrestling fans would know, Kurt Angle was a genuine Olympic athlete, who received a lot of respect from fans and peers alike after his gold medal win at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Chris Jericho received backlash for having Donald Trump Jr.

on his podcast. He later had Andrew Yang on as well. In recent memory, Jericho invited conspiracy theorist David Weiss on his show to discuss COVID-19 and QAnon.
