Despite being a Free Agent at the moment and has not signed a new contract with WWE, Brock Lesnar is still one of the most talked-about athletes in and out of Vince McMahon's federation. Everything about The Beast Incarnate represents a reason for interest and also on social networks this trend clearly continues.
In recent days, answering some questions from fans on Twitter, WWE US Champion Bobby Lashley has in fact launched a new challenge to the former champion and 'Beast' of the federation, wrestler currently without a contract.
Responding to the fan, the Hurt Business member said: "Once I get rid of this aspiring star (referring to Riddle) I am ready to challenge Lesnar anytime and anywhere." There are many WWE fans waiting for this match between two former MMA fighters, but for one reason or another, this challenge never took place.
Bobby Lashley wants Brock Lesnar
In fact, it is not the first time that Bobby Lashley throws the challenge to Brock Lesnar and some time ago the wrestler released the following words to the microphones of the After the Bell Podcast: "When I first came to WWE, he left.
Then when I left, he came back. And so for some time, I can say that he ran away from me for a very long time." Since his return to WWE in 2018, the US Champion has repeatedly attracted the interest of the WWE Universe who dreams of a great match between the two.
Brock Lesnar is currently Free Agent but many fans are hoping and awaiting his return, perhaps for Wrestlemania and who knows that Vince McMahon doesn't really want to please the member of Hurt Business. In recent weeks, there was also discussion of an incredible match between Brock Lesnar and the fighter and great UFC champion Conor McGregor but both The Beast Incarnate and various indications relating to the WWE have in fact denied this sensational opportunity in advance.
Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract expired after WrestleMania 36, and they did not renew it. Lesnar’s merchandise disappeared from the WWE Shop, and he is a free agent. We’ll have to see if Vince McMahon backs another truck full of money up to Lesnar’s house to get him another contract, but Bobby Lashley won’t be hard to find if Lesnar comes back around.
We’ll have to see if Brock Lesnar vs Walter ever happens. WWE would love to have Walter come to the United States, but he doesn’t want to make the move from Europe. The coronavirus pandemic also makes travel difficult for Walter.
The big question is who would come out on top if Lesnar and Walter ever meet in the ring. One thing is for sure, it would be a brutal encounter.
