*Spoiler* Shinsuke Nakamura turns face on WWE SmackDown

In the main event of last week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, a gauntlet match was aired to establish the new No. 1 contender for the title of Roman Reigns, in view of the new title defense of the champion at the Royal Rumble.

In a match that was practically dominated by Shinsuke Nakamura, who had pulled out an amazing performance, killing all the opponents who had stood in front of him, Roman Reigns and his cousin Jey Uso decided to attack the Japanese, to allow instead Adam Pearce to win the match.

The ultimate goal of Reigns was to have a titled match right on one of the most important WWE stages of the beginning of the year, to be able to take revenge live on the action of the WWE official. Already from the gauntlet match, the first signs of a possible turn face by Nakamura had been noticed by fans, which apparently would have been made official tonight, in the last episode of the blue show, where the Japanese challenged Jey Uso, winning his match.

Latest update on Shinsuke Nakamura

After being devastated last week, in the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura behaved precisely as a face of the company would, with a spirit of revenge that led the Japanese to win his match cleanly against his opponent, thus formalizing his return to the ranks of the "good" athletes of the WWE.

Obviously, Jey Uso was very upset by the fact of having lost his match against Nakamura, with the minor hand of Roman Reigns who, however, was consoled with the announcement of his inclusion in the men's Royal Rumble, where if his victory arrives, obviously he would go to challenge the WWE Champion of Monday Night Raw, leaving Reigns quiet.

After several months in the ranks of the show's villains, it seems that Nakamura has returned to the side of the federation public, with a match for the Universal title that at this point could be closer and closer. Shinsuke Nakamura wrestled as a babyface and he won the match.

It seemed that they were leaning this direction last week when Shinsuke Nakamura was screwed over by Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at the end of the gauntlet match. Jey Uso was not happy at all about Shinsuke Nakamura picking up the win. It seems that Nakamura is now a babyface, so that could put him even closer to a Universal Title match down the line.
