Latest update on 2021 Royal Rumble card

This Friday night's episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw four new entrants join the roster of entrants to this year's men's and women's Royal Rumble. Sami Zayn handcuffed himself to a barricade to protest his defeat to Apollo Crews last week and then made him official for the Royal Rumble.

Dolph Ziggler also revealed that he will be in the game, after accepting an open challenge from Cesaro in the context of "I will face anyone who is already in the Royal Rumble" Ziggler is currently SmackDown Tag Team Champion alongside Robert Roode, but has explained that he is aiming to win the Rumble for the all-important reward that victory guarantees.

He then intends to go to WrestleMania as the show's headliner.

As for the women, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan have been announced for the women's Rumble. Billie Kay said she talked to Sonya Deville and she allowed her colleagues to be admitted.

However, this came after the Australian cost the couple a possible match for the women's couple titles. The relations between the three therefore remain largely compromised. Next, a graph was shown adding intercontinental champion Big E and Shinsuke Nakamura on the men's side and Tamina Snuka on the women's side to the two Royal Rumble.

So here is the updated list for men: - Dolph Ziggler - Sami Zayn - Big E - Jeff Hardy - Cesaro - Otis - Shinsuke Nakamura - Jey Uso - AJ Styles - Bobby Lashley - Daniel Bryan - Randy Orton - The Miz This is the list of women instead: - Mandy Rose - Dana Brooke - Tamina Stuka - Ruby Riott - Liv Morgan - Alexa Bliss - Shayna Baszler - Bianca Belair - Bayley - Charlotte Flair - Nia Jax - Peyton Royce.

CM Punk was the iron man of the Royal Rumble, dominating the entire first half of it along with The New Nexus. Meanwhile, Booker T and Diesel made surprise returns to WWE during the match. In the end, Alberto Del Rio stood tall and won the largest Royal Rumble in history at the time.

WWE trumped that feat by booking a 50-man Royal Rumble Match to headline their first Saudi Arabia pay-per-view, Greatest Royal Rumble. While that may have been a little too much, a 40-man Rumble with the right story could work in today's day and age.

WWE has a huge roster, incredibly stacked with talent. So maybe, just maybe, Kevin Owens' Royal Rumble wish may come true.
